Shawn Murphy improving chances with Dolphins

From miamidolphins.com: The Dolphins traded two Offensive lineman to the Chiefs. That means less competition for Shawn Murphy. Also after watching the 2nd preseason game, Donald Thomas started and Murphy switched with him every other series. Thomas is the more strong and physical lineman, but Murphy has the better foot work. According to Craig Bolerjack, who does play by play for Dolphins TV in preseason, he mentioned that the coaches really like the physicalness that Thomas brings to the line and Murphy is working hard and is better than he was last season, but they still haven’t announced a starter. Also on a WAC note, Chris Williams (NewMags WR), who was returning kickoffs and punts for the Dolphins, broke his hand in the preseason game vs. Carolina and the Dolphins waived him yesterday. That stinks because he looked great and I know Coach Sparano didn’t want to waive him, but he was injured. They really loved him.
