The dog that was owned by 18-year-old Celina Roye, the Nevada woman who was found dead in Green Canyon Sunday night, was found and returned to the Roye family on Wednesday. The Cache County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement Wednesday afternoon:”The mother of and brother to Celina Roye came to Cache Valley Late Monday night. On Tuesday we took the family to the site of Celina’s death and the dog was still in the area. The Cache County Sheriff’s Office arranged for the use of a live trap for the dog. This morning we received a report of a dog similar in description to that of Celina’s dog at the mouth of Green Canyon. Both animal control officers from North park and the Cache County Sheriff’s Office responded. The dog was hard to approach but over time was won over and captured. The dog has been released to the family.”
