On Saturday, August 29, the Logan City Police Benefit Association and the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center held a Children’s Safety Fair at the Cache County Fairgrounds. Through a successful bake sale, sales of pizza and soda, funds were raised to support the ongoing mission of the Cache Justice Center, which is to assist families and children in this community impacted by violence.Children were also introduced to the fundamentals of bike safety, the perils of impaired driving, and the various types of gear used by police in SWAT operations. Several local businesses contributed and donated to the event.The Logan City Police Benefit Association and the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center would like to thank all those who donated to, and those who attended, this inaugural event.
