Celebrating America’s Constitution

The 18th annual Constitution Day Celebration is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16th starting at 7 pm in the Historic Logan Tabernacle. Scott Bradley, Chairman of the Cache Valley Constitution Commemorative Foundation, says the keynote address will be given by Michael Ballam, founder and General Director of the Utah Festival Opera Company. The event is free and Bradley says it’s a great way to support the commemoration of one of the greatest days on earth, the day the Constitution was signed and became the supreme law of the land. “Our purpose is to bring to light, again, these principals, the pure wellspring,” Bradley says, “encourage people to go back and read the constitution, the founder’s words, and drink from that refreshing source rather than looking at some of the pollutions that seem to be made so popular now days.” On KVNU’s Crosstalk show Bradley said there will be a presentation by the Founding Fathers in costume, a March of the Flags by the Boy Scouts, color guard presentation by Cache County Sheriffs officers and music by a community choir.
