This is the day for the building of the Whittier Community Center’s Adventure Playground, with all of the work to be done by volunteers. Executive Director Kendall Andelin is thanking those who have volunteered to help the new accessible playground and says there are still some volunteer shifts to fill.Andelin says if you have signed up to build, you should check your volunteer shifts online. If you would like to make changes to your schedule, call Evelyn at 764-7504. Andelin says tools are still needed, especially drills, extension cords, and skill saws.
