It’s an evening for art Friday in Cache Valley. The Alliance for the Varied Arts will be hosting its fall gallery walk from 6 to 9 p m in histric downtown Logan. At 7 pm the Brigham Young University Museum of Art will present a lecture and slide show on the legendary Western artist Minerva Teichert. Event chairman Russ Fjeldsted says Marian Wardle, granddaughter of Minerva and curator of American Art at BYU, will present the program in the Historic Cache County Court House. The program will be held in the county council chambers where one of Teichert’s mural paintings is hung. The event is free but there is limited seating.
