Volunteers are needed, a lot of volunteers, if the Adventure Playground on the grounds of the Whittier Community Center is going to be finished on schedule tomorrow. The accessible playground is being built with all volunteer labor at 290 North 400 East in Logan and Whittier Executive Director Kendall Andelin says every hour counts.He’s looking for skilled and unskilled people who can help make sure the playground is finished on time. Andelin says at least 200 volunteers per shift are needed today and 300 per shift tomorrow.Andelin is looking for volunteers who can spend one hour, four hours or even a few minutes on the job. A big party is scheduled for Saturday at 5 pm to celebrate the completion of Adventure Playground.
