Cache County already has a nighttime curfew and now it has been proposed that a daytime curfew become part of the Cache County Code. The public will have a chance to give input on that issue tomorrow when a public hearing is held as part of the Cache County Council’s regular meeting. The meeting starts at 5 p.m. and the public hearing is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. County Attorney James Swink says the purpose of the daytime curfew would be to keep kids off the streets during the day when by law, they are mandated to be in school. Swink says such ordinances are already in place in Logan, Smithfield and Richmond.
