The Utah State University Board of Trustees will meet Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Alma Sonne Board Room of the University Inn.Agenda items for the meeting include a follow-up report from the Department of Wildland Resources in the College of Natural Resources at USU regarding the bachelor’s degree in conservation and restoration ecology that was approved as a new degree in 2003.Also to be discussed is a request from USU to offer a stand alone minor in climate change and energy starting in the spring.The strategic agenda includes a presentation and discussion by Noelle Cockett, vice president for extension and agriculture and dean of the College of Agriculture. She will speak on “agriculture in the 21st century.”
