Work is proceeding on the extension of 100 East to 800 South in Logan with concrete paving operations scheduled to start this week. Utah Department of Transportation spokesman, Vic Saunders, says this work will take place from 300 South to 700 South. Saunders says until it re-opens, motorists are encouraged to use 700 South as an alternate route for east and west-bound travel. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to remain off the wet concrete. Saunders says those found walking or driving on wet concrete will be held financialy responsible for the replacement of the damaged area. Concrete needs at least seven days cure-time before being driven on.
