State Rep resigns seat to work at USU

State Representative Brad Winn, R-District 68, has announced that he will resign his state House seat because he has accepted a faculty position at Utah State University’s Huntsman School of Business.The Ephraim resident and Snow College provost has represented Millard, Juab and Sanpete counties since 2007. Part of Winn’s new USU post includes directing its Human Resources and Leadership Masters program, to be launched live at the University’s Salt Lake Center and broadcast throughout the state beginning in January.Governor Gary Herbert will fill Winn’s seat from names submitted by District 68 delegates after convening later this year.
