The holidays can be difficult for military families who have loved ones serving their country in distant lands. A local company is offering to bring some holiday cheer to a local military family. Three Men & a Shovel Landscaping is seeking military families who have a family member who is away on service. They will then choose one family and install holiday lights on their home free of charge.Company owner Seth Bowen says they prefer to use LED lights because they use about one tenth as much energy as a traditional Christmas light bulb. They also burn longer than old Christmas light bulbs so they don’t have to be replaced as often. “We are excited to offer this new LED technology to a special family that is making an incredible sacrifice for our country. Hopefully we can brighten the holidays for them,” said Bowen. Anyone can nominate a family who is making a sacrifice for freedom. Please send your nominations to HolidayHero@ThreeMenLandscaping.com.
