The Utah State Aggies beat the San Jose State Spartans on a snowy, cold afternoon in Romney Stadium, 24-9. USU did most of their damage on the ground, particularly behind a career day from Robert Turbin, rushing for a career high 190 yards. Turbin’s achievement puts him over the 1,000 yard rushing mark for the season. Utah State also had strong rushing performances by Derrvin Speight, Diondre Borel and Michael Smith as the San Jose defense, coupled with the weather, provided good opportunities for USU to establish a strong running attack.
