The name of the 19-year old man found dead in his apartment Friday in Logan has been released. Lt. Rod Peterson says the man’s name is Christopher K. Kanervisto. He was a 2008 graduate of Bear River High School and was living at Oakridge Apartments, 1400 North 800 East in Logan. Lt. Peterson says Kanervisto’s parents tried to contact him all day Friday because he was supposed to pick someone up and didn’t. They finally reached a roommate who checked on him and found him deceased and lying on his stomach in bed. Peterson says drugs or alcohol don’t appear to be a factor in the death. The State Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy.
