Logan City’s off-street parking ordinance went into effect on November 15th. The ordinance requires cars to park off the streets between the hours of 1am and 6am, which is one hour longer than in previous years.A lot of citations were issued the morning the law went into effect, angering residents because roads were dry and no warning tickets had been given. Now the Parking Authority has returned the $15 dollar checks to those got a ticket.The letter says enforcement of the city’s off-street parking ordinance will not take effect this year until December 2nd.
