An 18-year-old Richmond woman has died from injuries sustained in a North Logan car crash last week.18-year old Hannah Chesley of Richmond reportedly passed away Tuesday at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, according to an obituary released by her family. Chesley was involved in a crash on November 24 at 2500 North Main in North Logan. North Park Police Sgt. John Italasano says 59-year old Craig Cressall was driving a 1997 pick-up truck and was making a left-hand turn heading west onto 2500 North from Main Street. Witnesses state that Chesley, who was driving a 1996 Oldsmobile, was southbound on Main Street and ran a red light, colliding into the pick-up.A passenger in the Oldsmobile, 18 year-old Jessica Rawlins, was taken to Logan Regional Hospital for observation and Chesley was airlifted from Logan Regional to the Ogden hospital for treatment of a severe head injury. Cressall was not injured and no citations have been issued.Hannah Chesley’s obituary appears below:Our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, Hannah Elizabeth Chesley, 18, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at McKay-Dee Hospital, due to injuries sustained in a car accident.Hannah was born on April 24, 1991 to Kurt and Elizabeth Chesley. Hannah was vibrant and full of life. She loved to write and filled many journals and notebooks with her thoughts and ideas. She also loved her music and enjoyed playing the piano. She spent many hours perfecting her playing. She was fearless when it came to traveling and went on many solo adventures.Hannah was always willing to help friends in need and to give them a boost when they were low. Her kindness will be missed by all who knew her.She is survived by her parents, Kurt and Elizabeth Chesley, her brothers, Alexander and Brady, and her sisters, Sophia and Sarah. She also leaves behind her Grandpa Winter, Grandma Ward, and Grandpa Chesley, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Hannah is being welcomed home by her Grandma Winter, who preceded her in death.Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richmond City Creek Ward Chapel, 150 South 100 East, Richmond. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Richmond City Creek Ward and also on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. All friends and family are invited to attend the funeral.
