If you are an active Marine, a Reserve Retired, Honorably Discharged Marine or FMF Navy corpsmen you are invited to join the Cache County Detachment of the Marine Corps League now being organized.The first meeting will be held Wednesday, December 9th starting at 7 p.m. at the Smithfield American Legion Hall, 104 South Main in Smithfield. Retired Marine Mike Buist of Mendon says those joining the League will not only enjoy the camaraderie, but will also have a chance to take an active role in such programs as Toys for Tots, parades, community events and scholarship foundations.
