After a three-hour hearing that ended in a tie vote, the Logan Board of Appeals is sending a proposed senior center project back to the city’s planning commission for another review. The proposed project was approved unanimously by the planners last month but neighbors and others opposed to the project appealed, citing problems with both height of the structure and inadequate parking. Cache County is considering getting involved in the project proposed by a Salt Lake City developer. After Tuesday’s hearing, architect Tom Jensen said he feels the planning commission will approve the plan again after receiving more information. The appellant, Todd Sherman, says he felt good about the decision of the appeals board.
