Thousands of people are expected to visit Hardware Ranch in scenic Blacksmith Fork Canyon between now and mid-March where families love to take horse-drawn sleigh rides out to see hundreds of elk at their winter feeding grounds.Dan Christensen, Superintendent of the Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area, says a pretty good crowd came for the opening weekend and he expects a lot of people will come during the Christmas holidays. The ranch is open Friday and Monday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the last sleigh ride, tickets must be purchased by 4:30 p.m.
