Logan City offering Christmas tree-cycling

There’s a right way to dispose of your Christmas tree and Logan City’s Environmental Department is ready to help. Spokesman Bruce Torson says the department has designated 27 different drop sites throughout Cache Valley where people can take their trees.”People can take and drop off the Christmas trees, their old Christmas trees, and make sure they take off the lights, the tinsels, the ornaments and metal stands off the trees and drop them off,” he says. “We’ll pick them up and recycle them for free.”Torson says a lot of people have participated other years and he hopes even more do this season. The trees will be picked up and taken to the greenwaste facility at the Logan landfill. The deadline for drop off is Friday, January 8th and a list of the drop sites can be found on Logan City’s website, which is
