Parents of children who are deaf or hearing-impaired are invited to take advantage of a class that can empower them to see that their kids reach their full potential. The class will be taught by Professor Emeritus Frederick Berg who was with the USU Department of Deaf Education and Communicative Disorders for more than 20 years. Berg has also worked in public schools, conducted room acoustics and sound equipment research. The class starts January 13th and will be taught nine consecutive Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mount Logan Middle School. Berg says the parents will be able to learn about cued speech for developing spoken language.
