Update on Wilkinson, Nelson, Carroll, Daniels, Mills and Penigar

<strong>Gary Wilkinson &amp; Spencer Nelson</strong>

Update from Greece:Dash Peristeri, the team for Wilkinson and Nelson, got a much needed win 71-68 on Jan. 3 to bring their record to 5-5. Nelson and Wilkinson both came off the bench and played very little in the game.Wilkinson played 5 minutes and was 2-5 from 2 point range and ended up with 4 points. Nelson played 7 minutes and was 0-1 from 3 and had 1 rebound. Next game is Jan. 10.

<strong>Jaycee Carroll</strong>

Update from Spain:Gran Canaria dropped another game 89-72 yesterday to fall to 6-10 on the season. Another bad showing for Jaycee Carroll. Jaycee played 18 minutes and was 1-6 from 2, 1-4 from 3, 3 rebounds, and ended with 5 points. Next game is Jan. 10.

<strong>Shawn Daniels</strong>

Update from Lawton, Oklahoma (Premier Basketball League)Former Aggie Shawn Daniels finished with 10 points on 5-12 from 2 (41.7%), 7 boards, 8 assists, 1 block in 25 minutes. His team, the Lawton-Fort Still Cavalry, and defending PBL champs, opened the season with a home win over the Halifax Rainmen 102-87.Next game is Friday Jan. 8 at home versus the Maryland Greenhawks.

<strong>Silas Mills</strong>

Alright checked up on former Aggie Silas Mills. He is playing in Mexico. He plays for Indios De La UAC-Juarez. His team is 8-24 on the season. They are #18 out of 20 teams in league. Their last game was a loss 103-99. It was played on Dec.29, 2009. They had a good break, enough to allow Silas to travel to Las Cruces Saturday to take in the USU vs. New Mags game on Jan. 2. Silas talked to Al before the game I guess. But back to Silas’s play in the last game. Mills played 35 minutes and was 8-10 from 2 point range, 1-2 from 3, 6-7 from FT, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and finished the game with 25 points. Next game is Thursday Jan. 7.

<strong>Desmond Penigar</strong>

For those that didn’t hear an update about Desmond over the holiday games on the Aggie Radio Network: Desmond Penigar is playing in Austria. The name of his team is, BSC RAIFFEINSEN FURSTENFELD PANTHERS. The last game for the Panthers was on Jan. 3, 2010 and the Panthers came away with a 101-87 victory. The Panthers record is now 14-1 on the season.Penigar had a game high 28 points, which is just over 8 points higher than his season average of 19.6 ppg (3rd in the league in scoring). He scored the 28 points in 26 minutes of playing time, was 6-8 shooting from 2 point range, 4-4 from 3 point range, 4-5 FT, 8 boards, 2 assists, and 2 steals. He is also leading the league in rebounding with 9.1 boards per game. Next game for the Panthers is Saturday Jan. 9.Here is a
