Staff, volunteers and friends of the American West Heritage Center are excited to announce the grand opening of the Cache Valley History Museum. It’s located in the Welcome Center of the Heritage Center and the public is invited to an open house on Friday, January 22nd from 6 to 7:30 p.m.The new Cache Valley History Museum features words, images, artifacts and interactive technology that help tell the story of Cache Valley and its unique position in Utah and the region. Education Coordinator Nelda Ault says the museum opens up opportunities to learn more about the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation, the Rocky Mountain Fur Trade, Cache Valley’s pioneer settlers and turn-of-the-century agriculture.
