200 pianists to take stage at Monster Concert

The annual Monster Concert presented by Utah State University’s Youth Conservatory takes place Saturday, February 6th in the Kent Concert Hall of the Chase Fine Arts Center. The concert features more than 200 pianists of many ages, some as young as five, according to Youth Conservatory Director Brooke Hirst. The event is open to the public.Tickets are $3 or $10 for a family and are available through the Caine School of the Arts box office in the Chase Fine Arts Center Room 139-B. The event is a fundraiser for the Youth Conservatory and proceeds from the concert benefit the organization’s scholarship fund, providing piano lessons to children of families who can’t otherwise afford tuition.
