Two Cache residents are in custody after the Cache-Rich Drug Task Force executed what it is calling a “major” drug bust in Wellsville on Monday.Adam C. Williams and Melissa J. Blauer were both arrested on several drug-related felony counts.According to a press release issued by the Cache-Rich Drug Task Force, Cache County Sheriff’s Office and Logan Police officials joined Adult Probation and Parole agents in serving a search warrant on the resident. The search reported culminated a three-month long investigation. Agents seized two pounds of marijuana, carrying a street value of $10,000, more than $3,200 in cash, more than 1000 hydrocodone pills, four guns including two that were reported as stolen, THC suckers valued at $2,000 and other drug equipment.Both Williams and Blauer were booked in the Cache County Jail.Williams was booked on four first- and second-degree felony counts of possession with intent to distribute, three third-degree felony counts of possession of a firearm by a restricted person, two counts of possession of a stolen firearm and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.Blauer meanwhile was charged with various counts of marijuana and prescription drug possession as well as one firearms possession by a restricted person charge.
