The Logan Ranger District plans to implement portions of the Hells Hollow prescribed burn starting Wednesday. Depending on weather conditions, the prescribed fire could take place from March 24 through late April. The plan is to burn 400 acres of conifer stands within Unit l-A which consists of 1800 acres by aerial and hand ignition. If conditions allow, the remainder of Unit l-A will be treated in the fall.
