Four Democrats had filed for office in Cache County prior to last Friday’s deadline and Party Chairman Vince Wickwar says all are quality candidates.Two are doing re-runs of the 2008 election. LDS Seminary and Institute teacher Morgan Bowen is challenging Republican incumbent First District Congressman Rob Bishop. USU Professor Gilberto Urroz is running for District Four State Representative, a post Fred Hunsaker is leaving.Wickwar says there are also two first-time Democratic candidates.”We have Mark Daines running for County Council in the Northeast seat,” Wickwar explained. “We’re very happy to have him. He is an experienced politician. We expect great things in that race.”He says Page Pagnucco, an Avalanche Center forecaster, is challenging Republican Curt Webb in Legislative District Five.
