More than 2400 people from Providence were without power for approximately four and a half hours last night. Rocky Mountain Power spokesman Dave Eskelsen says there was a problem with a bad cable at the Millville Substation which serves the city of Providence. The call came in at 5:21 p.m. He says Rocky Mountain switched to an alternate feed and that had been completed by about 8 p.m. Eskelsen says power had been restored by 10:17 p.m.
