Utah State to hold annual Men’s Basketball banquet on April 14

LOGAN, Utah   Utah State will hold its annual men’s basketball end of seasonbanquet on Wednesday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m., at the Copper Mill Restaurantin downtown Logan. Cost of the event is $25 per person. Stew Morrill, the 2010 Western Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, willaddress the audience, the team will honor its individual award winners, anda highlight video will be shown. USU will also recognize all of its playerswho earned all-WAC honors in 2010. Utah State won its third-straight regular season WAC title in 2010 as itwent 14-2 in league play for the second-straight season. USU also won 17straight games during the year, which is tied for the third-longest winningstreak in school history along with the 2003-04 team. Utah State advanced to the championship game of its conference tournamentfor the ninth time in the last 11 years and played in the NCAA Tournamentfor the second-straight season and the seventh time in the last 11 yearsunder Morrill. USU ended the season with a 27-8 record and those 27 winsare the fourth-most in school history.
