Unconventional format part of conference on landscaping

“Building Healthy Communities” will be the theme of the 2010 Annual Sustainable Landscape Conference scheduled for April 1 in the Utah State University Eccles Conference Center. Planners say April Fool’s Day is more than just a day for lighthearted spring follies, it’s a time for something new. The “un-conference,” which organizer Chris Harrold describes as an unconventional format, provides opportunities for informal but valuable conversations. The conference will bring together a cross section of participants concerned with designing, planning, educating and building of healthy communities in the Intermouatin West. Harrold says the un-conference method presents a setting where participants from any profession, level of expertise and background can exchange ideas.
