The Preston School Board has voted unanimously to hold a $250,000 supplemental levy election on April 20th. If approved by patrons, the supplemental levy would help the district deal with an estimated budget reduction of just over one million dollars. The last time the school district held this kind of election was during the 1970s. The decision to hold the election came after a meeting where input was invited from the public.
