There have also been a number of minor traffic accidents throughout the region because of the wet, slushy snow on the roadways.Sporadic showers are expected to continue through Thursday as temperatures will struggle to climb above 40, a far cry from the high of 62 on Tuesday and 14 degrees below the normal of 54 for April 1.A winter weather advisory remains in effect until noon Thursday, with additional snow accumulations of one to three inches. A smaller storm is projected to move into the area Saturday before clearing out for the rest of the week.Listen to KVNU – 102.1 FM / 610 AM for the latest on weather related issues.
