After eight years at Logan High School, Jeff Brimhall resigned as basketball coach Wednesday afternoon. There were areas of disagreement about how the program was being run between the coach and the Logan City school’s administration. After the situation was discussed, Brimhall offered to step down with a 103-84 record and 7 trips to the State playoffs as coach at Logan. Grizzlies were the state runners-up in 3A under Coach Brimhall in 2008. They placed 4 times in the 3A Tournament. Logan moved to 4A this past season and they played with a very young team that struggled to win games. Their record was 6-16, knocked out in the first round of the playoffs by Timpview, the eventual 4A winner.
