The 4th Annual Little Bloomsbury Art Show is coming up the weekend of April 23rd to April 25th at 181 North 200 East and the public is invited to attend. As a prelude to the art show this year, a poster competition was held and more than 200 students from four high schools and one middle school participated. Brenda Sun, Executive Director of the Little Bloomsbury Foundation, says the theme this year is Shared Prosperity for the Employment-Challenged. “The team came up with a horror movie concept, inspired with humor, on what we can do as individuals, families and as a community in view of pressing employment challenges faced by working America,” Sun says. “The four non-buddies were teamed up by teacher Michael Bingham as part of the requirements of the poster competition. Now the strangers have become great friends.” Dr. Sun says a team of four students from Mountain Crest High School won the 2010 Little Bloomsbury Poster competition: Xavier Barriga, Taylor Bradley, Joe Maughan and Cameron Sanberg.
