Members of the Logan Planning Commission have voted unanimously to issue a permit for already-installed steel poles along 100 East. Complaints have been registered and Logan Light and Power Director Jeff White said he did not realize a permit was needed since the poles were taken from another project to replace the weak wood poles on 100 East.Five people attended the Thursday meeting and spoke out against the large steel poles which they described as ‘ugly.’ White agreed to powder coat the poles to a rust or brown color.
