There still may be a senior living facility built in central Logan but the senior center proposed on property owned by Cache County is now off the table.Planning is now underway for a smaller building on the same block, at about 150 East 200 North. It will be four stories high but will not include as many units as the earlier project.Tom Jensen, architect for Architectural Nexus who was involved in the first proposal, thinks the demand exists for a senior facility. He said the new structure will not be a senior center as such, but will include condo type units.Jensen said the original project failed because of the poor economy and because of local opposition.
