3 named to Utah’s Tourism Hall of Fame

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Three Utah boosters are being inducted into the state’s Tourism Hall of Fame. The honorees are Ski Utah marketing director Raelene Davis; Outdoor Utah Adventure Guide publisher Red Oelerich (OLE-rick); and Kathy Hanna-Smith of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce and the Carbon County Travel Bureau. Utah Office of Tourism director Leigh von der Esch says the nominees show the diversity of those who work to make a difference in the tourism industry. The award comes from the Office of Tourism, an arm of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development. The honorees will be recognized during the Utah Tourism Conference next month in Logan.
