Alaska man pleads guilty to enticement of a minor online

The former director of student services at Prince William Sound Community College in Valdez, Alaska has pleaded guilty in Utah to two counts of felony enticement of a minor online.Cache County Deputy Prosecutor Spencer Walsh says 64-year-old William Painter entered the plea this week. Authorities in April 2009 notified Alaska State Troopers that a 13-year-old female cyber “profile” had been approached by someone in Alaska with an online profile that was traced to Painter. Trooper Spokeswoman Megan Peters says an arrest warrant was issued from Utah, and in February, Valdez police arrested Painter at his home.
