The city of Logan is scheduled to start construction on the west side of Main Street between Center Street and 100 North on Tuesday. City Engineering Department spokesman Justin Maughan says crews will be constructing new sidewalk and landscaping to match the blocks to the north and south as well as replacing water services to the businesses on that block. Maughan says the majority of the work will be on the sidewalks but there will be times when that work will go into the road. He says there may be times when southbound Main Street traffic will be restricted to one lane due to the construction.
