First District Congressman Rob Bishop, R-UT, will be conducting a town hall meeting Saturday, June 5th at 1:00 p.m. to provide a forum for discussion about current events in Washington, D.C. and to introduce “America Speaking Out”, a new interactive web-based forum launched by House Republicans, including Rep. Bishop. According to a press release from Rep. Bishop, America Speaks Out seeks to bridge the growing disconnect between the priorities of Americans and the agenda set forth by Congress. “In addition to introducing America Speaking Out, Saturday’s town hall will serve as an open forum for constituents to share their thoughts on current events occurring in both Utah and Washington,” said Congressman Bishop.The town hall meeting will be conducted at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge Visitors’ Center Auditorium, 2155 West Forest Street Brigham City.
