Nibley celebrating its heritage

This is Nibley Heritage Week and Mayor Gerald Knight says everyone in Cache Valley is invited to attend the many events which start with a children’s bike parade Monday at 6 p.m. The parade will start at the LDS Church parking lot on 3200 South and end at the old Nibley Elementary school. Everyone is invited to decorate their bicycles, scooters, skateboards and wagons or, Mayor Knight says, you can even decorate yourself. One of the highlights is a children’s play to be presented by Nibley’s Children’s Theater which has the title “The Town that Couldn’t Wake Up” or “Sleeping Beauty Western Style.”There will also be a baby pageant, basketball and soccer tournaments, family swim night and traditional parade on Saturday, June 19.
