On Saturday, 500 people from throughout the region participated in the TriUtah Cache Valley Classic Triathlon at Hyrum State Park. There were two length choices for the event, the “sprint” and the “Olympic.” The Olympic choice was two-times the distance of the sprint on the run, bike and swim. The cool, overcast weather of the day reportedly was helpful to participants, although the water in Hyrum Reservoir was cold.
