New CEO named at Logan Regional Hospital

Intermountain Healthcare leaders announced today that Michael A. Clark has been appointed as the new Logan Regional Hospital chief executive officer/administrator. He will begin serving in his new role effective immediately. “We are thrilled to welcome Mike in his new position,” said Timothy T. Pehrson, CEO/vice president, Intermountain Healthcare Urban North Region. “I am confident that he will work successfully with physicians and community partners to further Intermountain Healthcare’s mission to improve healthcare for the population Logan Regional Hospital serves.” Clark has more than 15 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry. For the past five years, he has served as operations officer at Logan Regional. He has been instrumental in bringing healthcare improvements to Cache Valley, including the Logan Regional Cancer Center, the new Women and Newborn Center, digital mammography and other advanced imaging services. “I am both humbled and excited for this opportunity to serve as Logan Regional’s CEO,” said Clark. “Bob Cash was a tremendous leader here and I look forward to continuing to move the hospital forward to meet the growing needs of our community. I am excited to work with our physicians and employees to provide excellent healthcare services to our patients.” Prior to joining the Logan Regional Hospital leadership team in 2005, Clark served as executive director of operational services at Kingman Regional Medical Center in Arizona. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry and his Master of Public Administration degree, specializing in health administration, from the University of Arizona in Tucson. Clark and his wife, Sarah, are the parents of two daughters. They live in North Logan.
