Republicans being encouraged to vote Tuesday

All of Cache County’s registered Republicans are being encouraged to go to the polls Tuesday and cast their ballots in severak different races. One is the U.S. Senate contest between Tim Bridgewater and Mike Lee, who both defeated incumbent Senator Bob Bennett in the party’s state convention. There is also a local race between incumbent Cache County Recorder Mike Gleed and his challenger Stan Palmer. Residents of Legislative District 5 will choose between Incumbent Curt Webb and his opponent Chuck Bateman. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and those who are not sure where to vote should call the Cache County Clerk’s office.
