Cache businesses invited to Chamber open house

Cache area businesses wanting to get a little assistance or find a little more visibility for their organization are invited to the Cache Chamber of Commerce Open House next week.Businesses will be invited to the Chamber’s 160 N. Main offices on June 29 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to see what the Chamber has to offer, learn about the services, and network with other area businesses. “People should come in and see what we have and who we are,” said Sandy Emile, CEO of the Cache Chamber. “We are here for both new businesspeople who want to start a business and may not be Chamber members, for people who are thinking about starting a business (and for existing businesses,)” Emile said. “Existing business who are well established, they can come in and also give a leg up to young businesses who are starting.”The Chamber offices will be open to anyone to come in and visit on the 29th, Emile said, and part of the reason for that is officials felt the organization hasn’t been as accessible as it could be in the past.”We felt that we haven’t been as accessible to all of the open community as we’d like, so we’re taking a day and opening our doors,” Emile said. “We are here to service the community, our patrons and the community at large.”Emile said she felt there are many components of the Chamber that the community isn’t aware of. She said the organization wants to help the community grow in the right direction, and she hopes businesses and other interested individuals will come visit to find out about the organization’s services.
