Approximately 275 soldiers of the Utah National Guard’s 141st Military Intelligence Battalion will depart Utah en route to a 12-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom soon from the Utah Air National Guard base. The departure ceremony will start with remarks from Major General Brian L. Tarbet, adjutant General of the Utah National Guard and Lt. Col. Matt Price, Commander of the 141st. Soldiers of the 141st include those who reside in Logan and other Cache County communities: North Logan, Providence, Smithfield, and also Tremonton in Box Elder County.
