The vote was unanimous Tuesday night as the Logan Municipal Council approved a request to rezone property to be used for building an upscale 214-unit multiple-apartment community. The change is from agricultural to general commercial for land east of 100 East on the border with River Heights near the Riverwoods Conference Center. No one appeared at a public hearing to speak out against the rezone. The so-called “Falls at Riverwoods” will include a clubhouse, exercise room, several swimming pools, a pavilion, a trail, a playground and barbecue area. Logan Economic Development Director Kirk Jensen says construction could start as early as August.
