Police arrest man on suspicion of bank robbery

A 53-year-old Logan man was arrested Friday afternoon on charges of robbing the Cache Valley Bank in downtown Logan.Gerald Hall reportedly was arrested outside the Emporium building shortly after he reportedly demanded a teller at Cache Valley Bank’s 101 N. Main location give him an undisclosed amount of cash. There reportedly was no weapon involved in the incident.Police located Hall in front of the Emporium just after 5:45 p.m., according to police radio traffic. The arrest reportedly drew a high amount of attention as a crowd gathered during the incident near the Emporium, scanner traffic indicated. Hall was booked into the Cache County Jail Friday evening.
