North Logan planning full day of Pioneer Day festivities

North Logan Mayor Lloyd Berentsen is inviting everyone in Cache Valley to visit his city on Saturday, July 24 when an all-day Pioneer Day celebration is being held.On KVNU’s Crosstalk show Thursday, Berentsen said there is a flag ceremony at 6:45 a.m. followed by a 7 a.m. breakfast, which is a fundraiser for the North Logan Library. Berentsen says the Pioneer Day Parade starts at 10 a.m. at 1600 East and 1900 North and ends at Mountain View Park.”We move from there into who will (be announced) the Grand Marshall,” Berentsen said. “We will also have a number of activities and booths and things set up at the park. It just is a day of fun for the entire family.”The mayor says there will be great food and good entertainment. Fireworks will start at dark at Elk Ridge Park.
