Four people were injured, one seriously, in a one-vehicle traffic accident on U.S. Highway 89-91 near 2600 South in Logan. Assistant Police Chief Jeff Curtis says a Dodge Neon was traveling north in the inside lane and the driver apparently turned left, then went into a sideways slide. The vehicle went across the center median, then went off the road and down into a deep ditch where it struck multiple pine trees before coming to a stop. Curtis says a 42 year-old female was transported to Logan Regional Hospital then later airlifted to the Trauma Center in Salt Lake City due to the severity of her injuries.Two males, ages 26 and 28, were taken to Logan Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. A 33 year-old male was treated for minor cuts then booked into the Cache County Jail for a probation violation.Curtis says investigation is continuing into the accident which occurred Thursday at about 10:30 p.m.
